We have spent hours looking for the top dive computers out there so that everyone who is really into diving can spend more time in the water. All of these computers will increase your enjoyment during you dives, whether you are a beginner or more experienced. So check these out, buy one and then let us know how much better your next dive is!

The first dive computer that you should consider buying is the Aeris Epic Hoseless Wrist Computer. In our opinion, the Epic has one of the best prices, the best features and the best design. The Epic is also really stylish and you can wear this while diving or while out to dinner. The best part about this dive computer is that you can program it to read from numerous different cylinders, including your dive partner's.

Next up is the Suunto Stinger Titanium. The Stinger is so high class that it is only one of two wrist computers in the world that can separate Nitrox, Free/Gauge and Air modes. If you are looking to buy a dive computer, this baby will make you very happy. This is one of the most well-known dive computers in the industry and all of the advanced features are so easy to use that even a beginner will feel comfortable using it.

Another style to read more about is the Uwatec Aladin Smart Z Hoseless Wrist Air/Nitrox Computer. Uwatec is a brand that is popular within the more experienced diving community. They even have a unique algorithm for that increases safety and maximizes your bottom time. What more could you ask for when you buy a dive computer? I guess that's why they named it the smart computer.

We can't forget about the Ocean VT Pro Hoseless Wrist Computer. You know you can trust this brand because they have worked with NASA to develop a dive computer for their underwater test facility. The VT Pro is Oceanic's best-seller and although it is similar to the Aeris Elite, the VT comes with an Oceanlog PC Interface. This feature allows you to transfer your dive data between your dive computer and your PC by when you use a USB cable to sync them up.

Last, but not least, is the Aeris Elite Hoseless Wrist Computer. You will not be able to buy another dive computer with these features at such a great price. The Elite is hoseless, PC downloadable, Nitrox compatible and has times your safety stop. Best of all, the functions are really easy to read and use.

Silver Surfers, The Benefits Of Computer Use For Older People
Silver Surfers, The Benefits Of Computer Use For Older People

I teach computing to adults and I find that the majority of my students are mature learners. Why do these students want to learn computing and what benefits do they hope to gain?be

Knowing something about the basics of computing helps an older person to feel that they know what the rest of the world is talking about. Just knowing how to use a mouse and turn on a computer helps them to understand the technology that their grandchildren use everyday without giving it so much as a second thought.

Once an older learner has learnt the basics of using the internet there are huge benefits to be gained. Online shopping is a perfect example. Many older and find it harder to get to the shops. Groceries and other shopping ordered online is delivered to your door without even needing to leave the comfort of your own home.

Internet shopping is also a boon when it comes to birthdays, Christmas or other family occasions. Order your presents online. They can be delivered to you if you want to give them to the recipient yourself, or you can have them sent directly to the recipient with no need to wrap and post them.

If you have friends and family overseas, the internet is great way of helping you keep in touch. With a webcam and internet telephony you can see and talk to your family for free. This is a fantastic way for a grandparent to get to know grandchildren living overseas and be able to watch them growing up.

Most younger people seem to communicate entirely by email or text. If you have a computer you too can use email and keep in touch with your family. Your grandchildren will think you are the coolest grandparent on the planet.

Many household bills can be paid online. If you find it hard to get to the post office or the nearest town, use internet banking. No need to worry about missing payment dates and receiving those horrid red reminders.

If your hands are getting stiff and shaky and you find it difficult to write, the word processor on a computer can be a godsend. The spelling checker is your friend and the computer doesn't mind how long it takes for you to complete the letter.

A lot of older people enjoy playing the games that come with most computers. You can also install chess or bridge programs, for example. You can practice your play in private and stun your bridge partner with your improved skills at the next bridge club meeting.

Many internet sites and chatrooms are dedicated to silver surfers. For older people who find it hard to get out, the internet can a source of new friends - another opportunity to use a webcam and see your new friends around the world.

If you have been widowed, online dating can help you meet a new partner in safe surroundings and get to know something about each other before meeting. Sounds funny, but I personally know several older people who have met new partners through the internet.

If you are a mature person, don't be afraid of the computer. Go for it - have a go. The first time you talk to your grandchildren over the internet they will think you are the coolest grandparent on the planet. How much of a confidence booster is that?

Define Computer Virus
Define Computer Virus

A computer virus is a software program, script, or macro designed to infect, destroy, modify, or cause other problems with your computer or software programs. The user may protect him by using an anti-virus protection program. The anti-virus protection program designed to detect, protect, and clean any computer viruses. This is the most basic way to define a computer virus. There are tens of thousands of viruses out there with many more created on a daily basis. The protection program needs to updating on a constant basis. The computer needs updated with its running system, email and files in order to keep a completely safe PC. The normal use of any computer still puts the system at risk of being compromised by hackers unless you provide an anti-virus program for your protection along with a personal firewall.

A computer virus has been described as a parasite that intentionally will enter your PC for destroying your system, files, and any programs that you have on your system. The virus will attach itself to files or boot sectors in order to replicate itself the user is unaware of the problem and spreads the virus to others.

The hacker usually creates a virus that will not come to play until the first person receives it passes it on to their network. The problem then arises on where the virus came from, what type of virus, and what are the damages. The final definition concludes that a virus creates damages to the computer system by infecting the PC either inadvertently or deliberately. This explanation helps you to understand the difference between a computer virus and the Trojan program. The virus replicates itself while the Trojan Program does not.

"An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure." That holds true with a computer virus because the damage can be so devastating that your hard drive crashes leaving you with nothing. You would need a new system and all your files destroyed. A worse case scenario being that all your personal information taken will leave you into problems that affect your financial well-being.

Many different viruses affect your PC. There are few major parts to your PC that can be affected, which destroy the system. The email account can be compromised causing you to obtain a worm that you pass to your network. The virus or worm destroys your PC along with everyone you send emails too. The next type of virus is referred too as macros this virus will affect your files, boot sectors and the email.

The fact is that macro viruses are the number one problem for internet users. The viruses are spread by shared documents and grow every time you make a new document the document to those on your network then increases the macro virus ability to travel in the web highway. The macro attacks as many users that open the document then when their system becomes infected and they create a document that one is infected. The process goes on forever until someone finds out the problem and works to get it resolved. Do not ever think by ignoring a virus that no harm will be done. The virus is an infection, which grows until it destroys all PCs that it comes in contact.

Do Not Buy a Dive Computer That Does Not Have These Features!
Do Not Buy a Dive Computer That Does Not Have These Features!

Many people run out and buy dive computers without even understanding the function of a dive computer. Yes, they are cool and will make you look like you know what you are doing. I still think it's risky when people don't do some research first, especially considering that these wonderful pieces of technology are very intricate and expensive. What I'm trying to say is... don't be one of those people who buys one just to look cool and impress others and then finds out that the computer was not the best match for you. Take two minutes to read an article like this and then go buy a dive computer.

There are many brands and many different styles of dive computer available. In order to make this easy and painless, we are gong to spell out the features that you need to look for when you buy a dive computer. If you come across one that does not offer these functions, move on to the next one.

The first thing that you should look for is what information will be displayed on your LCD display. You will need to know what your current depth is, the no-stop time (time left at the current depth before you will need to stop for a decompression stop while ascending) and your total dive time. Other additional features that are considered a bonus are the temperature of the water, rate of ascension and the required decompression safety stop depth and time.

Another function that you will need are alerts, especially if you are in a situation where you might have forgotten information that you learned during your certification training. The alerts are built in to enhance safety and if a high-risk event occurs you will be grateful that a warning buzzer will go off. A high-risk situation while diving could be one of the following: you miss your decompression stop, you have reached the maximum depth at which the dive computer operates, you are nearing the maximum oxygen levels allowed in your body or you are ascending at a faster pace than allowed. In most cases you will not ever come across these events, but if that buzzer goes off you will be glad that you decided to buy a dive computer.

The last feature that you must have in your dive computer is the ability to read the information from your diving cylinder. Your computer should tell you what your current gas pressure is and what the estimated remaining time is based on the rate of gas consumption and available gas.

3 Tips To Remove Spyware From Your Computer For Free
3 Tips To Remove Spyware From Your Computer For Free

Your computer is the portal to the Internet. It allows you to speak to friends via email or instant messenger, to play games on or even to educate you or your children. However your computer is at risk the minute you browse on the Internet. All kinds of nasty files from spyware, adware, malware to computer viruses which are lurking to attack your computer, all without your knowledge. I am going to give you three easy to follow tips that will enable you to repel and remove spyware infections from your computer.

Tip No.1 - My first tip is to practice safe browsing techniques. This sounds obvious, although it is tempting to visit those sites that offer downloads and goodies for free. Most of the time they come with a price, infected files within the download itself.

So to prevent spyware files from being downloaded onto your computer in computer desk manufacturer the first place, do only download legitimate files or programs from safe and trusted websites. If you are unsure then ensure you have the latest browser installed on your computer. Preferably you should be using Firefox as this can warn you if you are visiting a potentially 'dodgy' website.

Tip No.2 - You should ensure that you have an anti-spyware program that has an online guard contained within. Anti-spyware programs that remove spyware are great at removing infections, but that is all they can do remove after the infections has occurred.

The best way to combat spyware is to limit the amount of computer workstation, computer carrel, audio visual cart & stand infectious files that will be able to infiltrate your computer. As this article is to help you remove spyware for free, then I can recommend two products at the time of writing this. The first program is Spyware Doctor. The free version does have a decent online guard. [The paid for version is slightly better, but the free version is a very good product in its own right]. The second program is Spyware Terminator. You will only need one of them not both.

Tip No.3 - My final tip is to run a regular scan of your computer with whatever anti-spyware program you use. Ensure that you also regularly update your anti-spyware program for the latest file definitions so the anti-spyware program can find the latest spyware that is released to attack your computer.

How regular you run your anti-spyware program is based on how much you use your computer. Once a week is fine if you use your computer frequently but to not to excess. Personally I run a scan every 2 days as I do use my computer every day. My computer is pretty clean.
